- I used to have a Sportster Vi and seen similar behavior. If you're running
- Windows 95 try disabling the FIFO buffer in the modem properties. I don't
- know why but my modem would hardly transfer at all until I did this. Another
- thing is to try setting your DTE speed to 57600. My transfers were pretty
- spurious until I changed this setting. Again I don't know why but I know that
- it helped. Good luck.
